The following has been provided by Greg Tatton who has done extensive research on his family, has written a Tatton history, and now has generously donated this information to my site. His father and uncle were both school friends of my mother in the 1920’s. The Tattons have connections to Kettleby, were Quakers, were UEL, and related to both the Walton and Lloyd families. Rich in Canadian history. (Please be patient while everything loads)

The top picture is a home built on the site of the John Tatton farm. John Tatton moved here from Pennfield, New Brunswick around 1840. The original home built by John Tatton was destroyed by fire about 1930, and this home was built in it’s place. The farm is located on what is now the corner of Highway 9 and Weston Rd., just west of Kettleby, Ontario.
The bottom picture was Jesse Tatton’s home located on the Kettleby Rd, on the left side coming east into the village. Jessie was a grandson of John Tatton and brother of Lemuel Lloyd Tatton.
